A monthly look at the pulse of the PNW car community

July came in hot—figuratively and literally—but as the month drew to a close, things eased off slightly, giving everyone a chance to catch their breath before the August rush. That said, the summer heat didn’t slow down the heart of the scene, with some long-awaited comebacks, crossover events, and steady grassroots momentum building toward the end of the season.

🔥 The Return of Streetstars

One of the biggest talking points this month was the comeback of Streetstars—a crew that hasn’t been in the regular rotation for a few years, but whose events have always been remembered for their energy and vibe. Their July 11th meet brought a massive turnout, proving that the demand for their return has never faded.

Streetstars didn’t do it alone, either. The meet was a collaboration with 7-Eleven, Royal Fitment, Immortalz, StreetPhantoms, FiveStar, and Unknown—a multi-crew link-up that showed what happens when major names in the local scene unite for the culture.

🌿 High Horsepower & Higher Vibes

Also on July 11th, Vstyle hosted a successful meet in tandem with 7-Eleven, showing there was more than one hot spot that night. They’ve been busy this season, also pulling off another strong event with Cars and Cannabis in collaboration with The Canna Shop and Cuellar Farms, featuring none other than a V12 Lamborghini Aventador. Low-key vibes with high-end hardware—right here in Oregon.

🧨 Looking Ahead: Wasted Week Returns

Originally planned for the week of the 22nd, Wasted Week has been pushed to the last week of August and into the first week of September—giving crews even more time to prepare.

Wasted Space has been generating quiet hype all summer, and past years have proven this series to be one of the most well-attended and community-strengthening events in the region.

🚨 Respect the lot. Respect the organizers. Respect the community. 🚨
If we want this series to continue, every attendee plays a role in making sure it stays clean, safe, and positive.

As always, expect there to be more throughout the month as well, from organizers mentioned previously, as well as others, throughout the month of August. Not sure where to learn about pop up events? Facebook groups like PNW Car Scene and 503 Meets are always great resources not just for grassroots meets like those mentioned, but for established Car Shows, local track Race Days, and more.

🧭 Final Gears

As we move toward the back stretch of summer, the scene is still going strong. Whether you’re wrenching, cruising, detailing, or documenting—there’s still time to make the most of the season.

Support the crews putting in work. Respect the lots. Show up, show love, and stay connected.

We’ll see you out there.
